Latest News & Events

I have just spent the last five days writing at the Sonoma Writers Camp, led by authors, Ellen Sussman and Elizabeth Stark.

Amazing! Twenty-four talented writers (twenty-three women and one courageous guy, Robert Ward) wrote, ate, hiked, laughed and bunked together at the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center.

In addition to our three-hour, daily morning workshops led by Ellen and Elizabeth and designed for us to break boundaries and take risks with our writing, we had author, agents and writing consultant panels, student readings, and an evening with author, actor, voice of Ken Burns documentaries, Peter Coyote. (I’m such a groupie. I brought my CD of Suddenly Naked, a movie about writing that he starred in, for him to sign.)

The best thing, I was inspired to start plotting the rewrite of my first-draft book that’s been collecting dust for the past two years.

An A+++ writers camp.
